Bronwyn Shroyer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience. Bronwyn specializes in two treatment areas: OCD and PTSD - with a subspecialty of OCD+PTSD presentations. Bronwyn has lived experience with both PTSD and OCD and knows how difficult living with either (or both) can be.

Bronwyn believes that having multiple therapeutic tools is important in order to give the best care to her clients. She uses EMDR, Parts Work, and Inference-based CBT (I-CBT) as her primary treatment modalities, but also incorporates aspects of ERP, RF-ERP, ACT, Team-CBT, and others into her work when it will benefit clients to do so. She believes in seeing each of her clients as a full person, not just the diagnosis they are seeking help for.

Bronwyn is one of the first I-CBT trainers in the US and was an early adopter of I-CBT. She is trained by I-CBT co-founder, Fred Aardema, PhD. She also provides individual and group consultation for EMDR, I-CBT, and for clinicians who are treating comorbid OCD+PTSD cases and using both modalities.

Bronwyn is also a founding member of the OCD Training School. The OCD Training School is a group of therapists who know the suffering of OCD firsthand. We have made it our mission to bring relief to as many people as possible through education, advocacy, and therapeutic work. Bronwyn has also contributed to the growing number of clinicians and clients learning about I-CBT and has provided teaching materials, podcast interviews, and resources to that cause.
